PinpointFly
We propose PinpointFly, an egocentric interface that allows users to arbitrarily position and rotate a flying drone by position control interactions on a see-through mobile AR where the drone position and its direction are visually enhanced with a virtual cast-shadow (i.e., the drone’s orthogonal projection onto the floor). Users can position the final as well as optional intermediate drone positions and directions by manipulating the virtual cast-shadow on the touchscreen of a mobile AR.
