DA・TE・APPS！2018 was held at the sendai mediatheque. Mr. Ryo Sugawara, Mr. Yoshiki Kudo, Mr. Ryotaro Temma, Mr. Shotaro Ichikawa, Ms. Yuki Onishi, and Mr. Daigo Hayashi joined and won Best Application Award of IT department.

Prof. Kitamura and Prof. Takashima explained our techniques of flexible user interface at the New Technology Presentation Meeting held at Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Tokyo.

Prof. Patrick Finn of University of Calgary, Canada, staying with us as a Visiting Procfessor gave us a talk.

Dr. Koh Sueda of National University of Singapore and Dr. Naoki Tsukahara of the Graduate University for Advanced Studies visited us and gave us a talk.

The lecture and demonstrations for the course, “”Design and Engineering””, in Institute of Engineering Education, Tohoku University were held by Prof. Yoshifuimi Kityamura.

Dr. Sabah Boustila, University of Strasbourg, France visited us and gave us a talk．

SIGGRAPH ASIA 2017 was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
